This privacy policy applies to the Madarik AI app (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices, which was developed by Muhannad Daher (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider") as an ad-supported service. This service is provided "as is".

The Application does not collect or share any user data. However, external service providers are used to assist the Service Provider in improving the Application and its services. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways described in this privacy statement.

Please be aware that the Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies regarding data processing. Below are the links to the privacy policies of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

• Google Play Services: The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • With their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
• Google Gemini API: The Application uses "Google Gemini API" to provide chat functions and content generation. In the "Gemini" tab, data sent to the Gemini API is subject to Google's privacy policy.

• Pollinations API: The Application uses Pollinations API to generate images. In the "Smart Painter" tab, data sent to "Pollinations API" is subject to their privacy policy.

• GitHub for Ads: The Application displays display ads hosted on GitHub servers. When requesting these ads, GitHub may collect basic usage data (such as IP address) which is subject to GitHub's privacy policy.

▪︎ Why does the Application ask for these permissions?

• Microphone: This permission is used to record audio and convert it to written text (STT) to send it to the Artificial Intelligence model in the chat.
• Notifications: To receive notifications in case of an update.
• Access to Device Files: To enable the Application to save settings and keys so they can be easily retrieved when removing or clearing Application data, and to save documents, images, and long texts in the chat inside the package folder to facilitate the Application's access to them without using a large amount of LocalStorage, keeping the Application light and easy to use.

You can stop all collection of information by the third party easily by canceling and clearing the API keys from the settings.

▪︎ What is the Data Retention Policy and how can you manage your information?

The Third-Party Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the services available through them and for a reasonable time thereafter. The Third-Party Service Provider will also retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months, and thereafter may store it in aggregate.

▪︎ How does the Application handle children's privacy?

The Service Provider does not knowingly use the Application to solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

▪︎ How is your information kept secure?

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve their Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the Service Provider's processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
